I love how you followed along and built on the scenery given in chapter one, also the plot twist of the dad being connected to whatever force/cult/organization is affiliated with that symbol is so creative. Reading the synopsis of the chapter I kinda thought it would give off Silent Hill 1 plot vibes but that is something we're gonna have to wait and see for whoever writes the next chapter :) I thought the idea of the father trying to cheer her up and then the symbol and message about being ready to "walk a certain road" may suggest transformation, whether it's transformation of character or literal magic and the actual environment changes. Good work!

Concise but extremely descriptive and intriguing with so few words, wow. This can also be symbolism for the shock/ realization that you have been living in a slump/ not how you would've liked, or being in a depression. The death of the girl that looks just like her seems like spiritual premonition and warning of the consequences of a self-destructive lifestyle. That's just my interpretation of this brief.
