You wake up. Quite jarringly, in fact. Your head hurts, and you seem to be in a polished metal box. There's a set of doors on one side, but no doorknob. Right next to the door, there's a small panel. It has half a dozen buttons, labeled 1-6.

The button with the number 6 looks as if it's out of order. The button is hanging out of the socket by a red wire.

You're sure you've been in a place like this before, but you seem to remember it moving. Yes, these things are supposed to move. This one must be stuck. Call for help? Yes, you can call for help. But... how? You have no way to contact any people, and the elevator has nothing but the doors and the buttons.

Maybe you should press one.

Out of curiosity and instinct, you press button 1. The elevator shakes violently, throwing you off-balance, and you fall onto your bottom. The elevator goes up, then stops.

"Floor 1. doors opening" The elevator chimes as the metallic doors slide open, revealing a small white room, a Monopoly game in the middle of the floor. You step out and inspect the board. It was left in the middle of the game, but a token that looks like you is still at the go space. Again, curiosity wins, and you touch the token.

Nothing.

You roll the dice. 1. No surprise there. You move the token. But your legs, which you are crouching on, feel cold and stiff.

You look down. Your feet have turned into metal, just like the token, both feet stuck together. You try to let go, but your hands are moving on their own now, rolling and moving the token. The more you play, the more you solidify.

You scream for help, but it never reaches your mouth in time, before darkness covers your eyes
