Another day in class. Normally school is boring, but this day, our class is doing a fun get-together with games, food, drinks. We would be able to go home now, since all of the lessons ended. But everyone is sitting in a geography class (since teacher let us use it for our get-together). Old desks are pushed near the sand colored walls, leaving space in the middle of the classroom. Everyone are sitting on the chairs, eating the food they brought. A lot of people share their food, though mostly with their friends.
Daniel, the blonde boy from our class is sitting next to Tessa, since there are no seats left. His friends sit on the other side of him, while Tessas friends are sitting with her.
"Ohhh, Daniel chose to sit next to a girl" one of the boys teases. Truth is, Daniel doesn't even like girls. He just rolls his emerald eyes at the teasing. I mean all of this is kinda normal, we're not kids anymore
Ellis and Skye stand up. They had to think of what games our class could play. Well, atleast the boys will stop shipping me with Tessa. Daniel thinks. Even if he would like girls, Tessa wouldn't be his type. She's stuck up, with hundred of layers of concrete aka makeup on her face. Eww.
"Guys, right now we're gonna play an acting game. Every person will have to pull a piece of paper with different topics. Five people that will pull out the same topic will be in one team. There are gonna be six topics." Ellis, the guy with light brown hair and lenses instead of glasses says. Skye adds. "Come here to pull the papers out!"
Everyone are going to pull the papers, when Daniel unfolds his piece of paper, his eyebrows lift questioningly. Beauty and the frog. "How the hell are we supposed to act it out?" he mumbles underneath his breath. The class is muttering. Suddenly, one boy, Kyle, shouts out.
"Hey! Everyone who got the frog one, come here."
Welp, at least someone is taking action. Daniel steps towards Kyle. Kyle is tall, with messy brown hair, just a simple boy. He's taller than Daniel, and obviously stronger. Daniels smile falls as soon as he sees Tessa coming too. Oh come on, did she really had to pull the same topic as I did. He thinks. Another girl comes up, Layla, she's friendly, a bit chaotic, friendly. One more boy comes up. Chad, the nerdy guy of the class.
When the groups begin planning, the girls refuses to take the role as beauty. Oh my God, it's just a freaking acting game. Why are they being so difficult? Daniel thinks for a bit, then says suddenly.
"I'll be the beauty." Others freeze a bit. Right after him, Kyle says. "Then I'll be the frog"
Daniel looks at Kyle, surprised.
"What? Thought that I'd let you get all of the fun, Dany?" Kyle says with a smirk on his face. Oh, this is gonna be chaotic.
...
When other groups finish their acting, everyone is laughing. This game is quite fun. But now it's time for the Beauty and the frog. Chad decided to control the music. Girls are being trees. Kyle is sitting on the ground as the music starts, trying not to laugh. Daniel takes a step nearer.
"Oh, I wonder where is my prince." he says, biting his cheek to stop from laughing.
"Ribbit ribbit, I'm the cursed prince. Kiss me and I'll become human." Kyle barely manages to get his words out.
When Daniel leans down to kiss Kyles cheek, someone from class shouts out Kyles name, making him turn his head slightly. Their lips brush, only for a milisecond, but it's enough to make them freeze. Other classmates start laughing. But the act isn't over, though it's not going how they planned. They didn't plan the kiss of course. Chad puts up some chaotic dance music. I mean the plan was for beauty to kiss the frogs cheek and then dance.
Kyle gets up from the ground, a bit tense, but the corner of his lip is slightly lifted. Daniel looks at him, is that blush on Kyles cheeks? Nah, Daniel is probably imagining it. Brunette wraps his hands around Dans waist, starting to sway to the music. Trying not to laugh as he whispers into blondes hair.
"Well, guess the act didn't go according to the plan, huh?"
