So many times we hear the phrase “God will never let you down” but was does it mean, and why is it used so often. Some people would say it’s wrong, we all have troubles, of course we will feel let down. Others say it’s true, God will always be with us, he will never leave us or let us down. So, which is true? This might surprise you, but they both are. Let me explain, im a worldly sense, God will let us down, we will have troubles, if we expect him to remove them, we will be disappointed. However, in a spiritual sense, God won’t let us down, bad things will happen to us, but God will use them for our good, until the day that we are living a perfect life in heaven with him. Jesus told us to pick up our cross, and follow him. In this command he was telling us that he did not due to remove our sufferings, but to redeem them, to give them purpose. Every scar has a story, just make sure that story points back to Jesus.
