I notice a lot of things from day to day, and sometimes someone should hear those things. Not from the person they need to apply it to, just from someone in the background this is one of them, in the form of a conversation I imagined, but never got the chance to share
What are you thinking about?
The answer to this question.
That’s not what I meant
I know, it’s interesting how that happens, someone asks a question, they think of a clarification, but don’t say it out loud. Then they forget they didn’t say.
Someone might accuse the person answering of lying, or simply being misleading, when really without the clarification, telling the truth for it would be the thing that’s lying.
Like when?
Let’s say you asked me after dinner, if I brushed the dog. Now let’s pretend I’m supposed to brush the dog once after lunch, and once after dinner.
Ok, continue.
Now, when you ask, you may be thinking about specifically after dinner. What happens if I say “I’ve done it once.”
Oh, you are telling the truth based on the information you have, but it seemed misleading based on what I didn’t say.
Exactly, but some people don’t realize that, and think that the other person is lying, when really they are simply being very specific
That is today’s thing I noticed, and something I hope gets understood
