Chapter 11: The Elevator
You wake up. Quite jarringly, in fact. Your head hurts, and you seem to be in a polished metal box. There's a set of doors on one side, but no doorknob. Right next to the door, there's a small panel. It has half a dozen buttons, labeled 1-6.
The button with the number 6 looks as if it's out of order. The button is hanging out of the socket by a red wire.
You're sure you've been in a place like this before, but you seem to remember it moving. Yes, these things are supposed to move. This one must be stuck. Call for help? Yes, you can call for help. But... how? You have no way to contact any people, and the elevator has nothing but the doors and the buttons.
Maybe you should press one.
Chapter 22: Button 6
The button labeled '6' is intriguing. It's quite tempting to just rip it out of the wall, but that seems almost inhumane. Even though it is just a button. So you gingerly place it back in the slot. It sparks a little bit as it goes in, and shocks you just a tad. It wanted to be discovered, but not by just anyone.
You.
With the button safely in its place, kind of, it welcomes you to push it. Your hand is pulled towards it, and the button labeled '6' makes a click.
Chapter 33: open door
As soon as the button is pressed, and halfway clicked into place, you hear a whoosh and feel air rush across your face. Some unseen door opens and a bright light - maybe the sun? blinds you, and you cover your eyes with your arms, trying to shield yourself from it.
After your eyes adjust, you can take in the scenery: green hills, bright blue skies, a forest of trees to the left, and water to the right.
What was this place?
Chapter 44: A Whole New World (if you start singing that’s fine)
You step out into the soft terrain, taking in the beauty, the air feels pleasantly warm, with just a tad of humidity
As you look around, you see a some sort of animal in the distance, huge, with a long neck, and a long tail.
You make out scales, a reptile,
a Brontosaurus!
you hear a screech over head,
you duck into the elevator, barely escaping the Pterodactyl.
you take the sharpie that’s now next to the buttons and write “Dinosaurs “ next to number 6.
You look at the buttons again, and press 1.
