Respect, I am interested to see what you come up with

They tell me to be respectful

but there is nothing to respect

respect and acceptance are different

I won’t be mean, I wont yell

If she tells me she like girls

and I won’t attack if I am told

that she wasn’t a girl at birth

But I won’t have respect

cause how can I respect someone

who says my God made a mistake

I will stand strong in what I believe

no matter what society says

and if you should disagree

still my ideas won’t change
