You wake up. Quite jarringly, in fact. Your head hurts, and you seem to be in a polished metal box. There's a set of doors on one side, but no doorknob. Right next to the door, there's a small panel. It has half a dozen buttons, labeled 1-6.

The button with the number 6 looks as if it's out of order. The button is hanging out of the socket by a red wire.

You're sure you've been in a place like this before, but you seem to remember it moving. Yes, these things are supposed to move. This one must be stuck. Call for help? Yes, you can call for help. But... how? You have no way to contact any people, and the elevator has nothing but the doors and the buttons.

Maybe you should press one.

You press the button labeled "3" and you start moving. It feels like the whole box is moving. You're not sure what direction. But after a few seconds, the two doors slide apart.

You see, through the door, a room with a lot of... well, with a lot of stuff. There are several tables littered with tools, parts, papers, and knick-knacks. A sign on the wall reads: Taylor's Workshop, in bright lettering.

You step into the room to get a better view. There are a few doors on the walls. A clock is on a wall, but it seems to be broken, as the hands aren't moving.

A person comes through one of the doors, humming to themselves, and startles when they see you. They obviously weren't expecting company.

"Oh! Why, uh, hello! I don't usually get people coming through The Elevator, sorry for the mess. I'm Taylor. Would you like anything?"

You ask what kinds of things they make in their workshop.

"Really, I can make anything. But I specialize in wood and metal makings. Also, the doors to The Elevator are going to close in a few seconds, so you may want to get in."
