Those stupid song writers, as if they know anything about teenagers. She thought to herself angrily as she walked home. Abruptly, she stopped and threw her phone to the floor, the glass shattering. Where's my fricking teenage dream? She screamed at the sky. Everybody should feel how I feel when somebody says his name! Tears started streaming down her cheeks. I'm a car, speeding down the boulevard without a brake and I want YOU MORE THAN ANY STUPID SONG COULD EVER SAY... to be continued.

A week ago,

I told my truth,

But I guess my timing wasn't right,

Cause you didn't seem to like it all that much,

Or maybe,

You just don't like me.

Regardless of that fact,

You're still my friend.

You meant well,

When you said,

That you didn't want to hurt my feelings,

But that phrase alone,

Turned my heart to porcelain.

You went home,

After we acted as if nothing ever happened,

And to all those who asked me,

I let them know,

As if I were being paid to.

At least we're still cool,

And still friends.

I pushed my luck,

By giving you that letter,

And it shows.

Maybe I should've just resorted to speaking in code,

But now you know.
