Marinette's slippers clicked against the marble floor. "New term, new person" she continuously whispered to herself while walking to her locker. She finished 8th grade and is starting 9th grade at College Francoise Dupont. She walked into class, her face showing relief that Chloe was not present. Yet. Sliding on her favorite spot, she noticed someone new listening to her tunes. Marinette stood up to greet her but was immediately cut short by Chloe Bourgeois.

"It's good that you are leaving that chair, Dupain-Cheng, because that's our seat.'"

"I wasn't leaving it I was just greeting her." Marinette said pointing to the new girl" the new girl suddenly got interested in what the two were saying.

"If you want to greet her why don't you just sit with her!"

Marinette walked over to the new girl. she waved at her.

"Hello, I'm not deaf." Marinette was shocked by this response. "If she a fiery I'll be calm with her." The new girl held her hand out to shake hands. Marinette took her hand was greeted by a hug." I'm Alya." she whispered. At home, Marinette started her history essay the page was fully blank. She groaned. Just then, the ground beneath shook violently. Marinette stumbled and tumbled recklessly. Her bag started flashing pink that moment.
