Chapter 11: untitled..

ririoreo Poetry 9 hours ago

Spots dance across my vision,

The sun crowing above me, its brightness a blot

Against the azure, a lesion

On the calmness of the morn.

I shield my eyes,

Finding it hard to block the brilliance,

When the skies

Intervened with clouds so magnific.

A prayer is aimed to the Lord,

For the kind mediation

On my behalf, a mind so ignored

Believing God Himself would take pity.

And now, here, the star returns

The star that is unlike others,

That appears in the heavens

At the hours which others cannot be observed

O, Sol, why do you emerge

When the constellations slumber?

O, Sol, why do you submerge

As Luna rises to take your place?

O, Sol, will you not leave me to my foolish fantasies?

(just practising, trying to see whether i can still write poems, best not to interact with this one in particular 😭)

Chapter 22: Sunlight in passing

SolAr Poetry 8 hours ago

You can't look at sunlight directly

Just in pools

And mirrors

And memories

Bright gleaming towers as a monument

To you

What happens in the next chapter?

This is the end of the narrative for now. However, you can write the next chapter of the story yourself.
