This can't be real.
There is absolutely no way a little apple is staring at me right now. Mind you, it's a little turquoise apple. So, it's not even normally coloured. Did I mention it has eyes? And a mouth?
I slowly crouched down, trying to see it eye-to-eye, but it was still too short for me to even be head level with it. I continued to tower over the thing, my shadow casting shade on it. Then it... began squeaking. It was kind of cute, honestly. It waved its reedy arms around, hopping on the spot from one foot to the other. I must've eaten too many eddies.
It noticed after a few seconds of shrill peeps that I wasn't paying attention to its' language. I mean, I can't really understand it; how would it expect me to even try listen?
It turned around and hobbled from the smooth linoleum of my kitchen to the lush carpet of my living room. I tried to follow it before falling forward and landing on my face. Right, I forgot I was still crouching on the floor, water bubbling away at the stove. Which I should probably turn off if I want to keep going with this... I don't know what to call it. Phenomenon?
After I turned off the stove, I headed into my living room to almost have a heart attack. The creature was drawing on my wall! With a fucking Sharpie! Where did it even find that?! I was too scared to approach it, though, so I just watched dumbfounded as it outlined a small door for its' size. What was it doing?
My thoughts were cut off by a burst of light emerging from within the boundaries of the apple's drawing.
