Secrets are interesting.

Momma said it was bad to be nosy. Momma said that secrets must stay secrets, and you can't ask anyone about them. But Momma also says to tell her everything. She says we can't keep secrets from her.

So why does she keep secrets from us?

It's weird because my little sister kept whining all night. She said she was scared of Momma.

I was so young at that time. I didn’t understand her back then.

Until, I saw it with my own eyes.

I saw Momma in the middle of the night—holding a kitchen knife, cutting the bloody raw meat, looking like a lamb, with a sinister smile on her face.
