I was studying in my pink and white room when I heard three knocks on our cracky wooden door, my mom had told me she would fix it but she always forgets, I stood up and wobbled to the door and opened and what I saw next made me stand up in happiness.

"ahh!"

grandma had gotten up to get her bag off the bench when she suddenly tripped, she fell forward into the cabinet then back towards the floor. mum rushed towards her calling me while checking her pulse.

"there's nothing, CALL 111 (911)"

I picked up mum's phone from the table and tapped those three numbers panicked. I couldn't remember much from that moment only that they sent an ambulance over and asked question's or told us what to do. at some point mum told me to go to my room, I'm not exactly sure why by it looked like grandma was bleeding from the mouth. I could hear the ambulance by my window, the door opening, and footsteps rushing around.

Out of pure detestment, no sooner than I could fully hurl out my vomit when my mother screeched, shuffled backwards on the floor away from my grandmother, bumping into an old dresser, the force causing the dusty long and ancient metronome atop to activate, tick tick tick tick.

A flowering, and eventually spiraling sequence of lanky and long arms cascaded upward and out of my grandmother's mouth, tick tick. The arms almost distracted me from the fact that my grandmother was looking at me, crying a waterfall.
