Another open-ended and one-word prompt: sunlight. More so, doing this for myself because I quite like fulfilling prompts lol. Do with as you please!

Sunlight streams through the window,

As I lie on my bed,

And ponder just what is wrong with my head.

Surely this can't be normal?

And yet I hope I'm not the only one.

Just about everything in my life is going right,

But my mood changes like the color of paint.

One second I'm happy,

Or at least fine,

Then the next second I'm on the verge of tears.

My mind is like dappled sunlight,

Some places are bright and cheery,

Others are dark and dreary.

More often than not,

I feel a fright.

And everything,

Feels like a bite.
