I’ve got a book!

filled with all the answers,

a book that says my prayers, will all be heard and answered.

A book that can be read, by all people and masses.

A book that has survived the test of time.

a book that always will survive.

I have found the book!

the one that is a light,

a lamp to my feet, in the dead of night.

Sharper then a two edged sword!

and written by the Lord

I’ll inscribe it on my heart.

It will block the devil’s darts.

It encourages, it protects,

it will stand above the rest.

it shines bright on the hill,

and deepest ditches it will fill,

if you only take a look

you will found the book!

God’s Holy Word

Starting from the dawn of time,

and going past the end.

This book can tell you of my best friend.

If you need help, just ask, I’ll tell you,

because this book, is the only thing

that has a shot, to save you.

Even when I feel like the driest of bones,

I know that I am never alone,

For His word gets my heart beating again.

Even when they're doing nothing but throwing stones,

I know that my life is more than just my own,

For He's the one who's given me this pen.

Even when I am drowning in the deepest depths of despair,

I know that I will be brought up to fresher air,

For He can always rekindle my fire.

Even when I feel like it's too much to bear,

I remind myself that I can always go to Him in prayer,

For His love outweighs all of the world's ire.
