When breathing gets too hard,

When smiles are all fake,

And hands shake too much,

There's a place I go to,

A place I escape to.

Many places, in fact.

Places where there's a place for everyone,

Places I wish that I could call home.

Many of them may not be real,

But their existence lives on,

In my mind.

And,

In ink and paper.
