I didn’t see the hole, I just stumbled in, its a very deep hole, and now I’m stuck.

I was distracted you see, thinking about the world, so bright and vibrant, I didn’t see the hole

I wonder if that’s metaphoric, that some people are so focused on the good, that we fall into the dirt.

But, in the hours I’ve been lying here, I have seen things, that didn’t see the holes wonder either.

A doe and her fawn, slowly walking by, a skunk, peeping his nose in everyone’s business.

the trees shining in the breeze, you can only hear if you are silent.

Ive seen so much, since I fell in this hole, that other wise I’d never have seemed.

but it’s been eighteen hours now,

can you lift me out?
