(I feel like I need to be transparent; part of the prompt was inspired by Joyland, an AI roleplay and storytelling platform. I’m not really a fan of AI. I don't like how it makes me feel, like it strips my authenticity, and even if I'm being authentic, I'm training something to write in my style, so instead of letting AI steal my style, I took something and stripped the AI elements from it. I want to gain a more human element and would encourage paths to be made. I’ll gladly remove it, though if I'm advised to do so.) (Also, there may be something that's possibly triggering.) Also, I might consider reworking some of my first posts; I feel like I could use additional paths as footnotes.

I would love to plan a twist to the story where the planet they're stranded on is inhabited by humans (not animals imitating to look like humans, but humans). The characters will eventually meet people from the planet and form relations with the world's inhabitants. Some are decent humans, some are dangerous and cruel in their intentions. Where they landed is an island that's roughly the size of England, and it's under authoritarian rule; the government is corrupt and has committed countless human rights violations. There's a mountainous region on the island with a rich sheepherding tradition. The capital wants the resources in the mountains and have systemically oppressed the people in the mountains. The world's setting is in the 1930s.
