Like CrazyRickRiordanFan, I found this story brilliant and spooky. I hope an equally talented writer soon adds a chapter. Personal Note: I dislike the use of the pronoun "they" when it is used to obscure the gender of one person. I really see no problem with using "he" or "she". If you must be gender-neutral, there is another neutral pronoun, "it". I would like to see more writers construct their sentences so that the third-person pronoun is not needed; for example, write "Vesper said" instead of "They said" or "It said".
