You've packed so much killer characterisation and setting into such a small amount of prose, it makes for a really vivid story, and both Dallas and Tate make for great protagonists. Great job!

AN: I realise the prompt says 'popular and well known song', and I realise Daughter isn't the most well known of artists, but I really recommend checking them out! This story is inspired by the song 'Landfill', but it takes inspiration from most of the His Young Heart EP, and the band itself also does the soundtrack for one of my favorite videogames of all time (the Life is Strange franchise, and the Before the Storm prequel specifically). This was a really fun exercise, I might write another one soon!
