Hi everyone, I wanted to take some time to make a proper intro to myself since Fictish doesn't really allow you to do it yourself.
I'm Eckoepke (don't judge the name; it's a long story...), a random person who, like you, somehow stumbled apon this site in search of something. I've never been much of a writer myself, but it was something I used to do when I was eight and I had time on my hands, so it's a nice nostalgic memory to come back to. I also enjoy thinking about the best ways a book can be written, and sharing ideas with you all so that you can also introduce new themes.
A little bit about me:
I'm a teen that does multiple sports, such as cross country, soccer, and swim (there are more...), and I'm also good at playing the viola (first chair in my school). Athletics and music have always played a major role in my life; I feel like without those two things something is missing; but recently I've been exploring new passions, for example awhile ago I decided to explore the chess world and now I'm hooked, gives me something to look towards when things around us may be going wrong.
My reason for joining the site:
I wanted to join Fictish so that I could share ideas with other people and we could look back and be amazed at all the work we had done and the ideas that had come together to make such a masterpiece. I also have some books that me and my brother wrote when we were younger that I would like to finish up, and maybe have some people join along the way.
Regarding this intro:
Feel free to comment questions or concerns, I'm usually active and would like to keep it that way. Please also feel free to add your self-introduction to this thread or to other threads, I'm sure a lot of people are curious about who you are so don't wait. Happy writing!!...more
