Chapter 22: An Encouraging Read.

Lilith Fanfiction 19 Mar 2026

At first, Fictish was everything Ilovecats had hoped for. The website was bright and cheerful, filled with friendly competitions. Each story they wrote earned them points, and encouraging comments from other users.

But what really surprised them was the community.

“Can’t wait to read more from you!”

Ilovecats smiled. They had never shared their writing with so many people before, and it had felt incredible to be supported like this.

The prompts were fun too.

Inside, a small group of writers welcomed Ilovecats warmly. They shared ideas, gave feed back, and even worked together on stories. It felt like being part of a team that truly cared.

Ilovecats closed their laptop that night feeling proud. For the first time, their stories weren’t just something they kept to themselves.

They were something they shared, and something that brought people together.

Chapter 33: Friends on Fictish

Cha0z-Schmidt Fanfiction 14 hours ago

Ilovecats was enjoying her new friends on Fictish. There was only one problem, though. She didn't know who these people were in real life. Sure, some of them wrote stories about grand adventures, quests without end, romances for that ages, futuristic animals, and etcetera etcetera. One day, however, while she was in school, she overheard a boy from her class talking about a book he had begun writing on a website. When Ilovecats asked this boy, who by the way was a tall, black haired, freckled boy who went by EmperorAI on Fictish. He was one of Ilovecats' favorite authors. He always wrote Science-Fiction and Dystopian novels that felt like the main problem would never be solved. EmporerAI made a quick friendship with Ilovecats, and the two began collaborating on stories together. The new novel EmporerAI was working on was called, "The Artificial Empire: The Rise of EmporerAI." Ilovecats was happy to help make his story a huge hit among the Fictish community. They spent years writing books together, and over those years met up with other well known authors and newbies who had only just started and were making a fortune.

Then one day EmporerAI was forced to move to Paris, where his great-aunt was dying from liver cancer. He wanted to say good-bye to her before she passed away. Ilovecats gave him a Navy-worthy sendoff at the airport, a small peck on her good friends cheek. She knew that, perhaps one day in the far off future they would meet again in some coffee shop, maybe in California, ordering the same drink, laughing as the sun began to rise over the crystal blue ocean outside.
