Chapter 11: Riot45 Prompt Challenge: Vessel
Hiya, this is an idea that follows on from a thread I made on the discussion forum, as I thought it might be fun to have some writing prompts!
The prompt is a one-word one, as I find those to be the most versatile and interesting.
The word I picked for this thread is 'vessel'.
I'm going to post my interpretation of the prompt below this as a 'chapter 2', so that my submission doesn't sway anyone's ideas on what to write, and hope you guys will get involved with your own takes on the prompt by adding new chapters/story paths below! Credit to SepiandDust for the general idea of how this is all set out :)

Chapter 22: An Empty Vessel
I remember the days without Jesus,
When my world was dark and void,
my days contained no meaning,
and my inner peace destroyed,
I was an just an empty vessel, looking to be filled,
And evening I was, by the only innocent, killed.
I Remember the days before Jesus,
when my life felt a waste,
my breathe, just a breeze,
my heart, just a place,
I was just an empty vessel, with nothing deep inside.
But for me, Jesus died.
I remember the day I found Jesus, when I felt torn apart,
But the kind Lord Jesus, offered peace for my heart,
And the storm raging stills.
The day an empty vessel, was filled.
Chapter 33: Romans 1:20
Singing to You under the starlight,
Even the bugs in the trees seem like they're singing to You tonight.
It's easy to see You with all of Your creation singing praises to You.
You're seen in the way there are clouds made orange from the glow of the sun, along with the clouds made dark by the looming of a storm, and them being side by side in the same sky.
You're seen in the way the leaves in the trees shake and bustle in the light breeze.
And most of all, You're seen in the way that so many people, so different yet made the same through You and by You, coming together to worship You.
And when I see these things, when I see You,
I know my heart won't stay broken,
For a sky is never only ever stormy,
Eventually, I will see clear skies again,
I will see the sun again.
But until then, I'll be content,
Happy even,
Just seeing You.
