Hiya, this is an idea that follows on from a thread I made on the discussion forum, as I thought it might be fun to have some writing prompts!

The prompt is a one-word one, as I find those to be the most versatile and interesting.

The word I picked for this thread is 'vessel'.

I'm going to post my interpretation of the prompt below this as a 'chapter 2', so that my submission doesn't sway anyone's ideas on what to write, and hope you guys will get involved with your own takes on the prompt by adding new chapters/story paths below! Credit to SepiandDust for the general idea of how this is all set out :)

I groan softly as I wake up. I blink twice in shock.

It was light. The walls were white. There was a rhythmic beep, beep, in the background too.

Where am I?

I sit up in the bed, and look down at the white suit I was wearing, and through the suit, I felt all the tings of the tubes connected to my arms.

a horrifying question hit my head

WHO AM I?!

I grabbed my head hurriedly.

Why don't I remember anything?!

Why am I here?

Do I have family?
Am I dead?

UUUGGGGHHHHH

I rip the cords off my arms, and stand up. I immediately fall to my knees.

The gravity is so strong!

I force myself to stand up again, and with wobbling knees, walk to a desk nearby with a board.

The information of the board made me gasp
