Only yesterday, we greeted and hugged.
Today is another day, we stand far apart.
Tomorrow will come, with nothing we might know.
Life feeds us with fun, but frightens us with fangs.

If only we could chase you, we would do so yesterday.
Because all men are mortal, we have let you hurt all.
